A friend for Aguado once again

Hopefully... Back in the day Aguado ( on the right ) , lived with multiple cats. For the past 8 years he has been the only cat in the house. Aguado is 13 years old, and pretty mellow. His daily activites include waking me up at 5 am right before my alarm goes off, and getting his morning fix of dry cat food.
We had thought of bringing another cat in the mix off and on. On Sunday we decided to just do it. After looking online, we decided to go adopt a brother/sister for Aguado. The first place we went had some kittens and some older cats. We decided to look somewhere else, and saw another selection of cats. We needed someone older, and mellow like Guado. We decided on a 3 and 1/2 year old female named Jasmine. She is classified as a gray & white tabby. Her fur is actually pretty dark.
She was the best behaved cat in a car that I've ever seen. She slept most of the way home. Didn't make a sound. When we got home we kept Jasmine in her cat carrier at first, and that's when the 2 of them first met. She gave Guado a nice big Hiss hello. He was not fased by her at all. He just went about his business. Last night they couldn't be in the same room without Jasmine hissing at Guado. Today, Monday, was a better day. They can both be in the same room together without violence.
